Roisin Maguire, HSE General Manager (previously Anne Marie Ryan to March 2014 and Rachel Fitzgerald to September 2014) and Irene O’Byrne-Maguire, Clinical Risk Adviser with the State Claims Agency, are National Joint Co-ordinators for the AFFINITY project since mid-February 2013. Pilots/Early Adopters were selected based on data, service and strategic plans and the willingness of pilot sites/early adopters to be involved. Any organisation/team who wishes to enhance its falls prevention and bone health work is highly recommended to avail of the various documents under “Getting Started” to help determine their ability to deliver an integrated service delivery model within and across various settings and amongst multiple disciplines. The organisational checklist and online audit tool regarding the organisation of falls prevention and bone health per unit can also be used to help determine progress as the project proceeds.
